After 8 months of road tripping our bank balance was startling to look depressing so the opportunity to design and produce Cactus Equipment’s 2010 catalogue was a chance to work on a fun project and earn a few more months on the road.
We spent 5 days hanging out in a hotel room in Merida, one of the oldest cities in Mexico, while I got started on the project. We spent a bit of time checking out the anthropology museum and various corners of the city too.
The plan then was to drive 1200km to Oaxaca city and settle down in another hotel there while I completed the catalogue – of course there were a few Maya ruins to check out on the way…
