Windblown Ice

By July 26, 2015 August 5th, 2015 No Comments

Broken ice, piled by the wind and waves. I spent the evening camped on the edge of this lake in sub zero conditions with the lake calm and frozen, The wind turned NW (warm & gusty) during the night and  broke the ice, throwing great sheets onto the shore. Hooker Glacier terminal lake and Aoraki Mount Cook. Hooker Valley, Aoraki Mount Cook National Park.
